Kizer Original(XL) Button Lock Green Micarta V4605C1 (3.25" Satin)

I love everything about the Kizer Original XL: weight, size/location of the pocket clip, black hardware, smooth and muted action, the texture of the micarta. I expected a lot from this knife and it surpased my expectations.

Upon arrival, the Original XL had some really bad button lock stick. I disassembled the knife, cleaned, and lubed it....then it took about 3-4 days of a bunch of fidgeting but the lock stick worked itself out. Now the thing is sweet. Great lock up, super light weight, and the perfect size for EDC. I've had lock rock issues with other brand's button locks but the Kizer seems to be holding solid. I also recommend oiling the micarta, the green pops afterwards.

This is a good knife… however, button locks are so 2022😂 they’re fun and are perfect for light-duty EDC use. ONLY

The Kizer Original XL is just right. The original “Kizer Original” was a great knife, but, it was a little small for my large hands. The XL is Perfect. Like the blade steel, love the micarta, the button lock is drop shut, and the size fits perfect for my hands. Looking forward to other versions of the XL.
