The blade of this Begleiter 2 is made of 154CM material. 154CM Steel Blade delivers excellent edge retention, and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for heavy cutting applications. We have designed anti-skid gears on the upper edge of the knife for higher safety.

Micarta Handle

This Begleiter 2 has a black Micarta handle. Micarta has a soft feel in the hand and possesses an aggressive grip piness.

Unique features

Different from the other Begleiters, the unique blade shape is also one of the characteristics of this knife.

A Tanto Clip Point!!

I’ve long admired this rather eclectic design from Azo. I was kinda waiting for a uncoated blade version that never really happened. What finally had me sold was the fall shut action I saw on some YT video. I love that a lightweight blade with such smooth action! Another gem I wished Kizer would keep as a long term model.

This is my third Begleiter, and while they all have great drop shut action, this one is just next level. It has such amazing tactility when it breaks the opening detent and when the liner lock engages. And it drops shut with a satisfying click.

This knife is a perfect EDC size and blade shape, and the action makes it a truly worthy daily carry even for those who love variety.
