DESCRIPTION
Sway Back pocket knife, designed by Swaggs, is made with quality materials, forged with  N690 stainless steel, and shows us some creative yet utilitarian design language that stands out from the crowd. The skeletonized liner lock makes this blade light and unable to weigh down your pockets. A satin, reversible pocket clip makes this knife perfect for left hand, right hand, or both users! The Swaggs unlocks by the push of a button. The handle has a subtle sway-back appearance. Opening this blade is quick and easy with either the thumb studs or the flipper.

Coulda been a contender

This is my first swayback. I love the overall design. It just fits my right hand, as expected from the published measurements.
I suffer from a long-standing arthritis, and my needs likely differ from those of most users. To be fair, I did not make the purchase with any expectation that this knife would provide any particular sort of utilitarian benefit for my hands. The shape of the handle works surprisingly well for me, I think due to the fatter grip for the 4th and 5th fingers. Unfortunately, the detent was far too stiff for me (and my admittedly weaker-than-average hands) and this means that a) I can deploy the blade with 2 hands (just like my father did) or I take it apart and “clean up” the detent hole (burr removal, widen the very top of the hole a ridiculously small amount and make a “track” fo the detent ball. This would all be within the realm of “fun” for me except for this nasty arthritis. I think my strength deficit, as regards the detent, puts me near the weaker end of the normal distribution of hand strength. If only there were tunable detents!

Superb Knife!

Everything about this knife is superb. The opening action, the pocket clip, the feel of the handles and the stunning Wharncliffe blade are all just perfect.
