Begleiter is perfect... It's the second one I have owned... I gave the first one to a friend. I collect knives... I didn't regret giving it away because it is always nice to give a gift like a knife but I knew I had to get that knife again. I was looking at the kizer website and it was still in stock on sale! I had to get it. I paid roughly 170 dollars the first time... When I seen it for half the price I had to get it again. Kizer, you make some of the best knives I have come acrossed! Tolerances are awesome. Machining. Everything. Well worth the companion. Which is what begleiter means in German I do believe... I love knives and tools in general... Kizer makes a wonderful product and the kizer begleiter is my daily carry. Thank you. You know that the product is way good when you buy it twice. Thank you.

Nice “gentlemen’s" knife

Super lightweight, barely notice in pocket. Blade is long but not very tall. Incredibly sharp. Good value.

Great action, bad grind

The action on this knife is guillotine smooth and it looks great. Unfortunately the grind was sub par and created problems when sharpening on a guided system. Mine may have been a one off so I'm not trying to be too hard on it. I own many kizers but it seems in the last year or 2 the quality has suffered a little.
