First, it is an elegant looking knife, and one that I've been looking forward to purchasing for quite awhile. Fit & finish on my example was excellent. The action, out of the box was rather stiff for a front flipper, however it was easily adjusted. The S35VN blade was centered nicely had and a passable edge that sharpened right up with a bit of stropping. I've got a well-used micarta version and have had the Ti version - however did not care for the frame-lock on such a slim front-flipper. The Carbon Fiber, so far, exceeds them both, and is a joy to carry & use. Needless to say, I highly recommend the C/F Genie.
