A great med-big knife

I want sure about this knife at first. But it grew on me very fast. First it's in a goldilocks zone for me. Not too big, and not too small. The action on it is snappy and it is very drop shutty. The red micarta looks great. I did have someone say it looks like bacon, and they aren't wrong, but I makes me smile when I see it. Overall it's a great knife.

Best Knife In Last 10 years!!!

I have been collecting and using knives for two decades!! Most of my collection consist of folding EDC style knives and of course there are a few exceptions that encompass the fixed / other category, but the vast majority are EDC folders. I don’t get hung up on construction materials nearly as much as I do design. If the design of a knife is really good the parts can be upgraded to better materials later down the road. Well that’s exactly what you see with the Kizer Towser K!! They now have this knife available in ElMax with fat carbon scales. The point here is that this design with the santuko style blade that’s nice and thin behind the edge, multi row ceramic bearings, beautiful red/white micarta scales, full stainless steel liners, awesome deep carry pocket clip, and dual thumb studs is just one of the best combinations on the planet for an EDC knife!! I’m not going to discourage anyone from upgrading to the ElMax/Fat Carbon model but the red micarta model with a 154CM blade is already so good that I don’t feel the need to upgrade at this point. Kizers 154CM is good stuff and I love it for EDC anyway!! You can take the blade in my knife and once a week run it over the ceramic hone, followed by a brief strop and in about five minutes it’s back to cutting like a razor. That’s one of the reasons I like 154CM so much for EDC, and Kizers is very good, often going 2-3 weeks at a time without needing any attention. I think this knife may not ever need an actual resharpening as it will come back to razor sharp with about five minutes of honing and stropping. The Kizer Towser K is one of the best EDC knives on the planet and is near perfection when it comes to action, the multi row ceramic bearings turn this knife into an absolute masterpiece, possessing one of the best actions of all time!! The lock bar access is mind boggling good with a liner lock that is jeweled on the finger placement end, you never have to hunt for it even in the dark!! The deep carry pocket clip is actually adjustable, resulting in you having the ability to transition from standard deep carry to ultra deep carry. I cannot express enough how worth the price this knife is!! The Kizer Towser K is one of the best advancements in EDC folding pocket knives in the last decade!!

Flawless Action, Highly functional

This is a brilliant knife from Kizer. The double row ceramic ball bearing really shines and delivers a buttery smooth action. Snappy deployment with detent perfection, great access to the lock bar with buttery smooth fall shut action. Awesome.
Love the steel choice, Love the blade shape. I only have two minor issues with it. 1. the handle options let it down a bit. How great would a denim micarta be? And if the Lanyard hole was discreetly integrated in the back spacer it would complement the otherwise almost perfect knife......
