The rapids is one to keep!

It has some smooth action, when opening or closing it, but with a little kick to it when opening.

The micarta scales are nice and soft but also have enough grip to them to feel safe in hand.
The thumbstuds are contributing to the smoothness as well. They are very well placed and have got enough space around them to open the knife. The decision to place them more up the spine of the blade is far from a bad one.

For the price it is you really get some great "Bang for your buck"!

Very snappy, weighty in a good way, feels good in hand.

This is manufactured so well. The detent is strong. Liner lock is smooth and strong. The handle feels great. It's not the most ergonomical knife Ive used, but it still fills the hand well. Blade is very sharp from the factory. Highly recommend this.
