I looked for quite some time for a friction folder with a blade this style. About a year ago I came across this and I was immediately impressed with the quality of the steel. Now that the thumb assist tragically snapped off this morning I had a chance to see the grain of the metal and I wish I could post a pic. It's perfect. The blade never chipped, never corroded, stayed sharp no matter what I threw at it. I worked in restoration and construction, carried it as my every day and only had to put it on a stone a few times. Butchers steel kept it shaving sharp. Buy this knife.
