This would be the first aluminum version of the Feist!

The knife is made of CPM-4V premium steel. CPM-4V, also known as Crucible Particle Metallurgy 4V, is a high-performance tool steel that exhibits excellent wear resistance, toughness, and strength.

We use aluminum as the handle material in order to make it even lighter!

Wonderful version of the Feist

I'm a huge fan of 4V steel, and this model is amazing too. Love the slender design that makes it carry so well in the pocket, and the front flipper is pretty fun. I ended up swapping the blade to a carbon fiber shred handle, and a 3v blade into this green aluminum. The aluminum texture isn't slick at all, and feels great in the hand. I highly recommend and of the feists

Beautiful, but...

This knife is gorgeous! I haven't used it yet but my concern is that my titanium and tungsten rings on my knife hand will scratch or otherwise mar the beautiful finish of the aluminum handle. So, I either have to remove the rings ( a pain ) or be very careful about how I handle it. I view this exquisite piece as a dress knife to "put on the dog!" I also have the Kizer Special orange Sway Back in 4V and I am unconcerned about my rings and the G10 handle. This one is good for EDC.

light, useful design

What a cool < 3in knife! The green finish on the aluminum is quite nice along with the crowned spine. I've been enjoying carrying this around.
