Knife is good, Sheath is bad, customer service was bad

I was very excited to order a pair of these knives, when they arrived the knives themselves are excellent however the sheaths they sent with them are completely unusable, they seem to be mal-formed and do not readily accept the knife or release it, making the product useless. I contacted the company about the defective sheaths and was not even offered a return option, apparently I am stuck with them. Will not be buying another Kizer product.

Red micarta harpoon

Great! I absolutely love this knife. I was never going to start getting fixed blades until I tried this bad boy out! Many people complain about the sheath and I see why but I don't mind it at all. Very easy to conceal.

I Love the knife itself. But the sheath is way too tight and impossible to get in and out. I would love another sheath option!!

Great knife, sheath breaks in quickly

Like others I picked this up in the flash sale even though I already had the S35VN version direct from Maverick Customs. Came wicked sharp and I'm still shocked at the economics of a full tang D2 fixed blade with micarta scales and kydex sheath for the price.

The blade shape, full flat grind, and ergonomic contoured grip all contribute to a great design. awesome for meat prep, EDC tasks, a ranch knife, and whatever else you could throw at it! It's probably good for "self defense" tasks but I know jack taco about that stuff.

Unlike the more premium model, this one comes a bit tight in the sheath as others noted. The first couple of times I deployed the blade I had to put a lot of pressure on the thumb ramp. However, after a dozen cycles or so it loosened up and is now fine. Retention is still strong, but doesn't take too much to overcome. And I have seen zero signs of damage to the blade coating, hardware, or scales from friction
