The Mini Roach is a shrunken down version of the original, but has the same lines, angles, and materials that made the original famous. While it's not as big as the original, it's by no means small; you can still grip it in multiple places and get some hard work done with it. Kizer Folding Knives make innovative designs accessible! The Matt Degnan Mini Roach far exceeds my expectations. I wasn't sure how it could compare to the original Roach. This one definitely is in a class of it's own. Form, fit, grip, style , Kizer sharp out of the box, fun to flip, and carries out jobs well suited for a much larger knife. Ok Price point,I think my original Roach was $80. I'd love to see a maroon scale. Well done, excellent collaboration and design!
I'm not a fan of the handle material, but overall its very nice. It looks good and a very solid knife.
Kizer Degnan Mini Roach Liner Lock Knife Black G-10 (2.99" Black SW) V3477C2
My opinion on the Mini Roach is nothing but praise. It is such a solid knife. The fit and finish is perfect and the ascetic is very appealing.
Loving my Mini Roaches (Both color variations). The blade shape is one of my favorites out there and the thumb hole is a huge upgrade giving it multiple extra deployment methods. I really hope these sell well enough that they opt to release some premium scale versions of it. The pattern on it looks great but the edges of the handles do have some rough/sharp edges due to the pattern. I would love to get my hands on a Micarta, Carbon Fiber or Titanium handled version.
