I wasn’t expecting too much from this knife because I got it during the 50% off sale. But the detent is tuned tight, just the way I like it. It opens with authority and drops shut, and has great acoustics to boot! It’s a great user knife for those of us who ofte have to perform piercing and carving tasks.
