This is a solid handle and button lock that works perfectly. If you get a little slop in side to side. Give the 1 screw that is captive a little tighten, and good to go. Very fidgety. I bought one for my daughter. She loves it too.

The knife was very visually appealing, but after receiving it, left a bit to be desired. Initial in hand feeling was cheaper than expected, blade deployment was lazy and the blade itself was not even sharp enough to pass the paper test.

I love it, good size, very pleasant to use, very fluid, we are not afraid of damaging it, made to be used

I love button locks and picked the Brat up because it was a G10 integral... mostly because I didn't have anything like it.

Once I got in hand though I really started to fall in love with it. The Brat is super comfortable to hold... the milling on the back of the integral G10 handle both provides extra traction and "softens" the handle against the palm. (For lack of a better term.) I also love how high the jimping goes up the spine both from the standpoint of it fitting different hand sizes... and how much flexibility it gives you on finger and thumb placement during a variety of cuts. (As a fun bonus... the Brat also has its own unique acoustics thanks to its construction.)

Kizer you've done good here! Now please release more with a variety of blade shapes so I collect them as well. Love to see a sheepsfoot or wharncliffe at least! :)
