I have been eye balling the Drop Bear for sometime. When the clear one dropped I knew I had to have it. Great action, fit, and finish 10 out of 10
I like the look of the acrylic and the drop bear was just as excellent as we have come to expect. My only issue is the steel liners….. the “chrome” look to them, honestly felt a little cheap to me. Would have preferred those in more of a matte finish. But it is still a good value with the nitro-V steel.
First let me say, I love the drop bear! I have the elmax version and the yellow pei nitro-v model. The acrylic on this model is a cool touch, but some of the other chrome finishes feel a tad….. cheap. This is probably more subjective; the knife arrived sharp, excellent lock up, usually Kizer quality. I just wish they could offer something different than the cheap looking chrome/satin features.
I am very pleased with my order and not just the new drop bear but every kizer i haven’t gotten has been a dream! Very impressed i hope they don’t change how they do things ever.

I love the crosslock, par with the expensive knife cross locks! The locking open sound is suuper satisfying.
