Excellent knife

Love everything about this knife. Very well balanced and feels perfect in my size large hands and clutch lock is smoooth with no side play on the blade. Also It’s likely the sharpest knife I’ve ever received from a factory. You take pride in your work and it shows. Great work kizer, now I need a micarta & brass one.

Truly Fantastic Knife

Truly a fantastic knife. If you see it on sale for $77 buy it without hesitation if you like or are interested in the sheepdog. The finish on the aluminum is gripp, the blade is beautiful, and the thumb studs are necessary given the lighter detents of crossbar locks.

The only negatives are that the crossbar and the pivot screws came super faded and gray with a very light and inconsistent black coating, instead of the deep consistent black theyre supposed to be

also the aluminum is very, very nice and the knife is exceedingly comfortable, but im puzzled as to why Kizer decided to put large flat bevels on the scales instead of contouring them like most Sheepdog versions. I have the aluminum Sheepdog Mini buttonlock and even it is contoured. The knife is still comfortable, just would be noticeably more comfortable in hand if contoured.

all in all those are nitpicks and this is one of my favorite knives.
